I've loved The Sims since I learned of it's conception. Tis' very interesting stuff. Anyhow, I spent a few nights addicted to The Sims 2 and wanted to share my reivew with you guys.

Here's a glimpse:

With the new 3d view you can zoom in and out, rotate completely 360 degree around your sim and check them out from head to toe; up close and personal. Don't miss your reflection in the mirror, zoom in and watch computer games on the pc, take video captures and make your own home movies, or just follow your sim around and take note of immense, adorable and tiny details; like hand-painted knobs on the armoire, the tiny sim newspaper writing, or even play an actual game of chess.

Go buy your wives the sims!

Dru and I have been looking for a game to play. Well that isn't entirely true. Druez got Xbox live with NCAA and ESPN. He and Teelo have been playing every night. So, in order to keep me happy and from distracting those ever important play calls, I think to the two of them decided I needed a new game to play. So, Druez brought me the 7th Anniversary copy of Ultima Online. Recently they canceled their upcoming new game and said in-part due to the successful player base they currently boast. So, I decided to find out for myself about the new changes and lands of Ultima. I have always loved UO - I've played (off and on) since 1997. Where else can you tame and hang out with Unicorns and Dragons. So far, my impressions are great. I will have more later this week. I am playing on Lake Superior, Shador set us up on this server our list visit to Britannia. Which reminds me, I'm wishing Shira or Shador would stop in.

Along the same lines, Druez is planning on doing an update or review of all the major mmorpgs we've visited in the past several years. He will discuss his opinions of the good and bad for each game. That should be interesting.

Gary Gorski, game developer for .400, just started to publish a weekly article. They are opinionated and controversial, check them out.

We have been taking bike rides every evening as a family exercise. Two things: 1. I love them. 2. Mason goes fast.

I would like to begin by congratulating Chad and Ann - they recently got hitched. I wish you the best of luck and happiness.

And the next reason to have a party. . . My new pc. Ohh baby I have the coolest pc on the block. Well Druez might think his is better, but only mine is picture worthy. It runs awesome too ;-)

Hello!

Funny story for you guys. Russ @ Sportsology.net was here for the All Star game in Houston. Before returning to New Jersey, he spent one day at our home. Russ is an old friend of Mason's. I've not had many opportunities to get to know Russ in a more personal manner. In the past eight years our relationship has mostly been online or the telephone. It was great to see him face to face again and show off how I rule the house. ;-)

The same day, my 13-year-old nephew and several of his friend were over to play XBox games with the guys. In our house, a lot of teasing and game playing goes on. This particular day, I was busy throwing around my girl power for all the guys and of course my little trainee, Atliy, to witness. I was teasing them about how most the boys I knew were obnoxious and a bit "distracted" by sports. Like a blaze of glory I announced that I had had enough and Atliy and I were going shopping. I proceeded to grab my things, headed out the door and turned the lights off as I went out. To my shock and amazement, and atleast 5 guys', I had turned off their Football game(mid-game and amidst lots of trash talking), TV, XBox and lights all in one quick swift motion. hehe ooops. Now, mostly I think girls want to be "cool" to boys. I think up until the light turning off event, I had scored some major coolness points. I've definitely dropped the ball er, or something. I tried to remain composed and acted very much shocked by their surprise and I apologized profusely as I backed out of the room.

Game Talk

I am beta testing Kohan II now. I can not really say much, but the game looks great and is sooooo much fun to play. I beat Druez last night in a 1v1. That's right Dru boy, I kicked your ass. Upon release, I hope each of you plan to try it out.

Sims2 is in the works. Yay! Will Wright Rocks. ;-)

Do you guys remember Star Peace? I played it off and on for several years. It was a multiplayer city building game. A lot of crap happened to the game; it changed publishers, went MIA, was gobbled up by Sega.com and was renamed to Legacy Online, who was then bought out by Nokia who finally decided they didn't want to fool around with the game and the game was finally canceled. Boooo! Anyhow, Monte Cristo, was the original publishers of the game and they are making a new 3d city building game called "Medieval Lords." After excitedly showing the link to a friend, he reminded me that Monte Cristo was the place games "go to die." Well I hope this game does not die. It looks great and I can not wait to try it out.

Everquest II
I think this should be our next online world to visit. This game looks awesome. Every time I turn around Druez is shoving more footage or updated information in my face. It is bound to have him hooked for an entire week. heh.
