Foul
smelling dark and dingy room filled with priceless ink smudged scrolls
just laying about. This is no place for a great wizard to live but
I must admit Archmage Celdiseth has taught me much, Elrion smirked
to himself.
Celdiseth tried to hide his feelings in his work.
"Sometimes Celdiseth I swear you can read my mind friend,"
Elrion said with a smile to his mentor.
The old wizard barely looked up from his book, "so it is today
that the Queen has recalled ye".
Elrion looked at his feet and muttered, "Aye my friend, there
is need of me to the south I am afraid. It seems that Loch has invaded
the plateau and Druez is in need of my help to defend".
Reaching to his pocket to retrieve the parchment with the Queen's
seal Elrion read the proclamation out."Wizard of the Serpents"
Elrion paused saying "I like the ring of that". Celdiseth
brushed off the young Sho's confidence with a shake of his head.
"We are in need of your Arcane Arts to come to the aid of our
friend Forsaken. Druez is already making the trek to the plateau.
Speed is of the utmost importance please hurry."
Celdiseth eyes narrowed and focused at his young pupil. "The
times ahead will be tough
for ye Elrion, but no one has promised ye otherwise". The wizard
paused, "Fight with honor fight with courage ... defend the
Queen".
Elrion grinned, "My old friend cheer up I will be back before
ye know it .... I will bring ye some of those famous apples ye like
so". With this the young mage motioned with his hands chanted
and was gone.
The old wizard looked down to his work with despair. "Ill times
are ahead of ye my friend. May your Serpent Queen smile upon ye...
"
